Daisy Ridley, chouchou des MTV Movie Awards

Après être rentré bredouille de la soirée des Oscars, Star Wars : The Force Awakens pourrait prendre sa revanche aux MTV Movie Awards.

Le film a remporté le plus grand nombre nominations, soit 11, dont trois pour la comédienne Daisy Ridley : dans les catégories de la meilleure performance féminine, du meilleur héros et de révélation de l’année – prix qui pourrait aussi être remporté par sa co-vedette John Boyega.

Le nouveau Star Wars pourrait aussi gagner le prix du meilleur film de l’année, catégorie dans laquelle il est cité aux côtés d’Avengers: Age of Ultron, Creed, Deadpool, Jurassic World et Straight Outta Compton.

Par ailleurs, Leonardo DiCaprio pourrait ajouter un popcorn doré à côté de son Oscar, puisque son rôle dans The Revenant lui a valu des nominations pour la performance masculine et pour… le combat de l’année, avec le fameux ours. Un prix qui pourrait d’ailleurs être raflé au duo par Daisy Ridley et Adam Driver. Avec des catégories comme celle-là et celle du «meilleur baiser», ceux qui ne sont pas familiers avec la cérémonie peuvent se douter qu’elle ne se prend absolument pas au sérieux et que ses récompenses soulignent surtout ce qui a été populaire dans l’année, particulièrement auprès du jeune public.

Le gala sera animé par Dwayne Johnson et Kevin Hart et diffusé à MTV le 10 avril.
