Close to 800 new condos for Ahuntsic-Cartierville

An important residential project of 932 units will be constructed on Henri-Bourassa Boulevard at the corner of Meilleur Street. Changes to the urban plan were adopted by the municipal council of the City of Montreal. Elected officials also launched the process of public consultation.

The project includes eight buildings ranging from four to 12 floors which will be constructed on a vacant lot, located between Henri-Bourassa and Gouin Boulevards. Formerly used by Transport Quebec for the maintenance and storage of road equipment, the grounds will have to be decontaminated.

The project respects the inclusion strategy of social and affordable housing in the City. It includes 143 social housing units and 789 condos. (V.L./M.B.)
