The City of Dorval presents Tango Boréal on Sunday, January 29 at 11:00 at the Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre, 1401 Lakeshore Drive in Dorval. The concert is presented as part of the City of Dorval’s Divertissimo series.
Denis Plante on bandoneón, guitarist David Jacques, and bassist Ian Simpson present Tango Boréal, an original repertoire that veers lightheartedly from pieces inspired by milonga, folk tunes, waltz and tango to sophisticated chamber works by Piazzolla. Emotion, seduction, passion and virtuosity… excitement guaranteed!
Admission is $5 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the Dorval Library, 1401 Lakeshore Drive, or at the door before the concert, as long as space is available.
