Invitation to the Big LaSalle Centennial Halloween Parade

As part of LaSalle’s Centennial festivities, you are invited to take part in the big Halloween parade on Wednesday, October 31, 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., in parc Leroux, at the corner of Centrale and Lacharité. Slip into your costume and come parade along a decorated footbridge with your friends or family. A panel of judges will be awarding some one hundred prizes for the most beautiful and most original costumes.

For the occasion, parc Leroux will be undergoing an extraordinary transformation: An immense enchanted forest with treasures and magical characters—like Aladin, Tinkerbell and King Arthur—will be waiting for kids and grown-ups alike. If you’re brave enough, visit the haunted house for oodles of shivers and quivers and the cemetery for gobs of goose bumps—both will be set up right on site. At 8 p.m., the event will come to a close with a magic touch: the traditional fireworks display!

Sponsored by Dubelle, these grand Halloween festivities will be featuring loads of characters and surprises for all the little monsters and pretty witches. The Optimist Clubs of LaSalle and des Rapides, the Knights of Columbus and Club Richelieu are also collaborating on the organization of this big parade, as partners of this event.

Halloween in LaSalle—festivities for the whole family not to be missed!
