Dorval Horticultural Society

Dorval Horticultural Society will hold its next meeting on Monday 26 March at Dorval Community Centre, 1335, Lakeshore Road, Dorval starting at 7.30 p.m. The speaker will be Gywnne Basen who will give an illustrated talk on Ornamental Vegetable Gardens and Heritage Tomato Seeds. Dorval Elementary Pre-K School

Dorval Preschool Coop

The Dorval Preschool Coop offers 3- and 4- year-olds a bilingual learn-through-play program to prepare children for kindergarten at the Sarto Desnoyers Center. Dorval Strathmore Pre-kindergarten

Bilingual, structured program, 4 year old pre-kindergarten program, operates Monday through Thursday from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. Your child must be four years old by September 30th 2011 to be admissible (some exceptions do apply).

AWISH (Arthritis West Island)

Do you, or a family member, suffer from arthritis or scleroderma? Need someone to talk to? Arthritis West Island (AWISH) offers support group meetings available for anyone seeking help. Meetings are once monthly, held at 750 Dawson Avenue in Dorval. Information: 514 631-3288.

Meals on Wheels needs volunteers

Meals on Wheels Lachine is in need of deliverers, who along with a driver, deliver meals to our seniors in Lachine. We are also in need of a couple of volunteers to help clean up after the meals are prepared in the kitchen located at Summerlea United Church, 225 – 50th Avenue, Lachine. « Beginners Computing »is offering workshops on how to operate a computer. These sessions are for the 50+ generation who want helpful information on computer basics and practices.
