The Cartierville Y center just got an exterior recreational space for teenagers. The lay-out was created by the Trekfit society, the park’s name is Destination Jeunesse. It has five sports stations where users can follow a training program with the signs. « For the last two years, 1500 young teenagers have enjoyed the interior installations. On Friday, we usually have about 300 participants. They can now enjoy an activity in the Trekfit Park », said the Y center director, Néhal Nassif, on September 27th during the new space inauguration. After discussing the project with the neighborhood youth in order to meet their needs, the campaign Destination Jeunesse members decided to create a free activity space. (S.N./H.L.)
