Holiday schedule for municipal services

The Verdun Borough hereby wishes to inform residents that the detailed holiday schedule for municipal services are on its website (ville.montreal.qc.ca/verdun). It will also be posted on the doors of the various Borough buildings.

Please take note that most Borough offices and services will be closed December 23-26, 2011 and December 30, 2011 – January 3, 2012 inclusively; however, Borough Council has made arrangements for services to be provided to residents during the holiday period.

Closed December 23-26 and December 30 – January 3 inclusively

Borough Hall, including the Accès Verdun office.

Open December 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and January 2-3 Verdun Auditorium Elgar and Marcel-Giroux community centres. The libraries and Centre culturel de Verdun (closed December 26 and January 2).

The Accès Verdun office open December 28-29 only from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (all day long).

Ateliers municipaux (public works): The Ateliers municipaux building will be open according to the usual schedule, except on Mondays, December 26 and January 2, when they will be closed.

Waste collections: according to the usual schedule

During the holidays, garbage and recycling collections will take place according to the usual schedule. All additional information in this regard may be found in the Waste Collection Calendar on the Info-Collections page of the Borough’s website. Important note regarding bulky items collection: Since December 30 falls on the 5th Friday of the month, there will be no bulky items collection that day.
