Justin Trudeau to visit Beurling Academy

Federal Liberal MP Justin Trudeau will be visiting Beurling Academy this Friday in a much anticipated visit by students and teachers. He was recently on a tour in Eastern and Southern Ontario to speak with Universities.

It was our pleasure to arrange this special visit, and certainly a big thank you goes out to BA administration for their quick acceptance. After all, it’s not too often that you get that the eldest son of Canada’s 15th Prime Minister to drop in.

Mr. Trudeau will first be speaking with the Contemporary World class and maybe do some teaching for a bit. Mr. Trudeau taught in Vancouver for 5 years in Vancouver before entering politics. He is currently the Liberal critic for youth, post-secondary education, and amateur sport.

Afterwards, he’ll be in the auditorium with Grade 11 students, taking part in a Q & A session. Mr. Trudeau will talk about a variety of various issues, such as getting involved in the community, having a sense of volunteerism, and talking about the fact that students are looking for ways to empower themselves. Afterwards he will invite the students to ask any questions, to be followed by a neat group photo…
