Over the holidays, the Montréal-Trudeau Airport welcomed its 18 millionth passenger of the year for the first time in its history. Through a contest organized on social media, Louise Coudé was selected as the lucky passenger.
Passenger traffic has been growing at Montréal-Trudeau for several years. The airport credits the record amount of passengers in 2017 to it being a hub to near 140 destinations, 87 of which being international.
« The addition of a wide range of destinations that are of interest to vacationers and business people alike is certainly helping to stimulate demand,” says Philippe Rainville, President and CEO of Aéroports de Montréal.
The prize offered to Coudé was a unique experience at the airport before her flight. It started with a limousine ride, followed by a meal for four in her favourite restaurant and then a treatment at Balnéa Spa Voyage.
