Congratulations to the Saint-Laurent Swim Masters

Seven members of the Saint-Laurent Swim Masters, along with coach Éliane Racine, participated this past Victoria Day long weekend to the Canadian Masters Swimming Championships at Etobicoke Olympium in Toronto.

Chantal Venne won 7 gold medals; Marie-Ève D’Amboise won 3 gold and 4 silver; Paola Bozzer won 3 gold, 2 silver and a bronze; Marc Vaillancourt won a gold, a silver and 2 bronze medals. Lajos Kovacs, Pedro Escalona and Sylvie Gagnon all produced top-eight finishes, contributing valuable points to the team total. The women’s 4 x 50m medley relay came third, thus meriting the bronze medal in the 160-199 years combined age group. Spectacular seven finished 20th out of the 105 teams, and was ranked second amongst the Quebec teams.
