Ride raises more than awareness

Three days and 600 km later, Novartis welcomed home the employees who took part in the 13th annual Canada Ride for Life. Almost 50 riders took part and raised $75,200 for breast cancer research.

Welcoming arms met the riders as they arrived at the company’s headquarters on September 26. Families and friends glowing with pride held balloons and cheered as their heroes entered its parking lot.

The ride, from Toronto to Montreal, passed through Kingston and Ottawa, is not only a fundraising event, but it is also a celebration of good health by all Novartis employees and breast cancer survivors who were the guests of honor.
