La petite ville de Buñol, dans le sud-est de l’Espagne, était toute rouge mercredi, à l’occasion du 70e anniversaire de la Tomatina.
Environ 22 000 résidents et touristes ont participé à cette immense bataille de tomates. Des camions ont largué quelque 175 tonnes de tomates mûres dans les rues de la ville.
Cette bataille traditionnelle est inspirée d’un combat de nourriture qui avait eu lieu entre des enfants en 1945.
