«Shakin», le duo inédit d’Aaliyah avec Timbaland dévoilé

Le producteur de rap américain Timbaland a sorti « King Stays King », un mixtape comprenant un titre en featuring avec la regrettée chanteuse de R’n’B.

« Shakin » fait partie des seize morceaux présents sur « King Stays King ». Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Mila J, ont également posé leur voix sur ce mixtape.

Décédée en 2001 dans un accident d’avion à l’âge de 22 ans, Aaliyah avait collaboré avec Timbaland et Missy Elliott sur son deuxième album studio, « One in a Million », sorti en 1996. Le rappeur a aussi participé au troisième et dernier opus éponyme de la chanteuse et produit les titres « We Need a Resolution », « More than a Woman » et « I Care 4 U ».

En 2012, Drake avait utilisé la voix d’Aaliyah pour le titre « Enough Said ». L’année suivante, c’est Chris Brown qui avait sorti « Don’t Think They Know », en duo avec la chanteuse disparue.
