St. Patrick’s Day Supper

St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 377 – 44th Avenue, Lachine will hold a St. Patrick’s Day Supper, on Friday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. sponsored by the Men of the congregation. This will feature their popular Irish stew, dessert, tea and coffee ($12 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and a family rate of $28). There will be door prizes and entertainment. St. Patrick Dinner Dance

Dorval Horticultural Society

Dorval Horticultural Society will hold its next meeting on Monday 26 March at Dorval Community Centre, 1335, Lakeshore Road, Dorval starting at 7.30 p.m. The speaker will be Gywnne Basen who will give an illustrated talk on Ornamental Vegetable Gardens and Heritage Tomato Seeds. Dorval Preschool Coop

The Dorval Preschool Coop offers 3- and 4- year-olds a bilingual learn-through-play program to prepare children for kindergarten at the Sarto Desnoyers Center. The learn-through-play philosophy is realized with a dynamic curriculum of themes, play stations and opportunities to explore and socialize. Dorval Strathmore Pre-kindergarten

Bilingual, structured program, 4 year old pre-kindergarten program, operates Monday through Thursday from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. Your child must be four years old by September 30th 2011 to be admissible (some exceptions do apply). Children do not have to satisfy eligibility requirements for English Education in Quebec to attend our pre-k nor are they required to be residents of Dorval. AWISH (Arthritis West Island)

Meals on Wheels needs volunteers

Meals on Wheels Lachine is in need of deliverers, who along with a driver, deliver meals to our seniors in Lachine. We are also in need of a couple of volunteers to help clean up after the meals are prepared in the kitchen located at Summerlea United Church, 225 – 50th Avenue, Lachine. « Beginners Computing »is offering workshops on how to operate a computer. These sessions are for the 50+ generation who want helpful information on computer basics and practices.
