Guitare Montreal Festival and Contest on April 27, 28 and 29

Here’s what’s on in a nutshell:

Concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings are held at DB Clarke Auditorium:

Location: Hall Building 1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. West – easier entrance from Bishop Street.

Friday: The winner of the 2011 MGS Youth Competition, Tobie Éloi Hinsé-Paré, The MGS Orchestra under the direction of Dave Pilon, and the melodius sounds of the international known Eugene Cormier.

Saturday: The Concordia Guitar Quartet followed by the great master of the guitar Jeffrey McFadden.

Sunday at 1pm will be the finals of the International competition. The exact location is to be determined soon.
