Newcomers struggle with job market

Most of immigrants in Bordeaux-Cartierville want to learn French, and therefore are attending French classes offered by many organizations in the neighbourhood. But when it comes to work, many employers ask for the applicants to be bilingual. This adds one more obstacle for newcomers to integrate their new society. Another issue is the recognition of skills, which restrains newcomers to work in their fields of expertise.
