Pierre Gfeller nomited at the head of Sacré- Cœur

Sacré-Cœur hospital has a new general director, Dr Pierre Gfeller. The doctor who started on August 28th will manage the building transformation projects that begin in 2008. After finishing the new emergency room, the hospital team will now focus on building a new mère-enfant center and a trauma unit. « For our renovations, a four phases plan was establish. Phase one is the mere-enfant center and the trauma unit. This file is in progress. It is the most advance. We hope to get a green light soon to go futher », he explains. The first phase also includes the renovations of the care and surgery units and also the moving of technical medical equipment, like the one used for endoscopy, in a new wing.(S.N./V.L.)
