A public transit network to improve

Although the public transit service has improved in Ahuntsic-Cartierville, there is still room for a greater number of users. In order to better determine the local needs, about 15 citizens took part in an information meeting held on October 13, organized by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).
A petition was submitted to the customer service committee that asks for improvement to the service offered on the 180 De Salaberry, 164 Dudemaine and 117 O’Brien bus lines. In all, 163 users of these bus routes signed the request. According to Renée Viau, these bus routes are not very efficient. “These routes are very long and the buses travel at intervals that are too infrequent.” (V.L./M.B.)
