Ruben Fazio Candidate for November 2nd School Board Election in Ward 2

School board elections are important to everyone, as a parent like myself or as a citizen. It is not only important, but also vital that your vote, on this November 2nd be cast and made to count.

Your vote is your voice and I urge you to re-elect the candidate who has demonstrated commitment, involvement and has knowledge of board policies and practices. I will be a candidate as commissioner, representing Ward 2 in this election.

For the past nineteen years, I have been actively involved with schools and school boards. Presently, I am serving my second mandate as Commissioner for ward 3. I have served as Parent Commissioner for the secondary level of the Lester B. Pearson School Board. Prior to the inception of linguistic school boards, I served as Commissioner for “La Commission Scolaire Sault St. Louis”.

During the creation of the new School Boards, I was appointed to the Provisional Council of the Lester B. Pearson School Board. I have gained knowledge and experience that will enable me to better represent and serve our community. I have participated with Central Parent’s Committee, Sector Committee and school Governing Board.

Ward 2 is one ward of the 12 wards making up the Lester B. Pearson School Board. It is of outmost importance that the commissioner representing our community, our schools, our children and parents be accessible, informed and knowledgeable. I will make it my duty and commitment to build a strong link between our community and the Lester B. Pearson School Board. I am qualified to serve as your local commissioner to look after the best interests of our community within the School Board.

On November 2, I count on your support to be elected as School Board Commissioner for Ward 2. The elections will be held at St. Lawrence Academy Senior, 1555 Rancourt. In the meantime, I could be reached at 365-1638 should you have any questions regarding this election.
