Families are invited to enjoy two Halloween celebrations in Verdun.
On Monday, October 31, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Centre Marcel-Giroux (4501, rue Bannantyne), a tribute to famous animal characters in movies will inspire this entertaining 100% Halloween event, presented by the Verdun Borough in cooperation with Club optimiste Verdun. The reception halls of the community center will be in disguise for the occasion, as elements of scenery will introduce visitors to famous film characters such as the Ninja turtles, Bugs Bunny and animals seen in the Madagascar box-office hit. A friendly celebration for children and parents.
At Centre Elgar (260, rue Elgar), from 5 to 8 p.m., a Halloween event also takes place on October 31, with the cooperation of two Verdun organizations: L’art d’élever les enfants and Action Surveillance Verdun. Outdoors, a Halloween setting will welcome children and adults. Games will be featured and as well as a pumpkin exhibition.
An October 31 Halloween happening at Centre Marcel-Giroux and Centre Elgar. Candies for the kids! Free admission. Information: 514 765-7150 and 514 765-7270.
