Scattered organizations

Organizations located at 2005, Victor-Doré have to change their address before September 1st. The CSDM is reclaiming the building to open a new school. « The schools in the borough are critically overpopulated, » said Jocelyne Cyr, school commissioner of Cartierville, quoting François-de-Laval, Saint Odile and Gilles Vigneault schools. Jeunesse 2000 will stay in place while the CSDM is bound to find a solution for Un milieu ouvert sur ses écoles, one of its projects. For the fifteen organizations, the district is negotiating new rental opportunities. The social bodies will probably be scattered throughout the borough. A shopping mall next to Cartierville’s library and an old post office on Laurentien blvd might welcome the organizations. This situation will certainly require an important reorganization.(A.E.)
