Additional stops for the Gold shuttle

In February, seniors who use the Gold shuttle – Bordeaux-Cartierville, will have access to three additional stops. The route which already serves eight residences for seniors as well as recreational places will stop at a third shopping centre as well as two other residential sectors. The STM made these changes following requests by citizens. The new stops on line 263 are located on the Marcel-Laurin and Thimens Boulevards in St. Laurent. “The requests were analyzed, because we do not want to create a route that is too long. Since the shuttle already passed by these streets, the additions will be effective in a month, » said Isabelle Tremblay, spokesperson with the STM. Users will be able to stop at Galleries Saint-Laurent, 1515 Marcel-Laurin Boulevard where there are several businesses, including food stores and restaurants. In the same way the shuttle will serve residences for seniors on Thimens Boulevard at the corner of the Alexis-Nihon Boulevard and Todd Street. (M.B./V.L.)
