Police officer "to better serve the population"

Before the Montreal police service (SPVM) find itself in a pickle with the « Matricule 728 » story, the Poste de quartier 10, had in project in store. This project would allow the citizens to evaluate the work performance of police officer to improve the quality of the service. Called « to better serve the population » was introduced to the population on October 11. The Poste de quartier 10, launched a survey for citizens who had a contact during a service call with a police officer. They are asked to answer five questions on the Poste de quartier 10 website. They can state their opinion on the quality of the police officer performance, regarding ethic and attitude. Citizens will be able to say if agents were respectful, if they answer their questions and if they gave the appropriated tool and reference to inform the citizens about investigations. (S.N./V.L.)
