West Island Palliative Care Residence Valentine's Day Gala

On Friday, February 8, 2013, 520 attendees, corporate and private sponsors and dozens of individual donors will participate in the West Island Palliative Care Residence’s (WIPCR) 14th Annual Gala at the beautiful Château-Vaudreuil.
The black-tie gala is the WIPCR’s largest fundraiser, raising over $300,000 a year. Mutsumi Takahashi, co-Anchor of CTV Montreal News is the host of this year’s Winter Wonderland themed gala. Anthony Cavillo will be on hand and will address the crowd.
Featured guests include Claude Perron of Shire, the President of the Gala, as well as several family members of patients who spent their final days at the Residence.
A highlight of the evening will be a video that provides testimonials from these family members, a reminder to the importance of WIPCR’s mission: to provide terminally ill patients with a place to spend their final days in comfort and dignity in a warm, home-like environment, close to their family, and in their community.
