Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
For a 13th year, Dorval’s traditional Christmas tree-lighting ceremony will take place on December 1.
As of 5 pm, visitors can enjoy warm food and drinks and a Holiday atmosphere while making a difference, as the money raised from the refreshments will be given to local community organizations.
Kids will be able to write to Santa and roast marshmallows to warm up. Later, the Dorval Elementary School choir will sing Christmas carols and the tree will be lit by Mayor Edgar Rouleau. A special Nicolas Noël musical show will follow the lighting.
Rounding out the evening will be the band Les Cornus singing traditional Christmas music, and Arabella, a participant in The Voice Junior 2016 and a resident of Dorval, who will also sing a few Christmas songs.
