When light and darkness collide
Amidst the trying period, she has been able to create over a hundred paintings and an installation containing eight hundred eggs that represent her journey with the disease and the changing physical and emotional alterations.
The artist admits that it is also “a message of hope that I wish to share with the incredible number of people who are affected, directly or indirectly, by this disease.”
Until March 23rd, her exhibit Clair-obscur depicts an fictional cellular realm where light and darkness cohabit. “My work, accompanied by the writings of Marc Vachon, has become a visual diary of this experience”, reveals the artist.
