Natasha Turovsky exhibits in Dorval

The works of artist Natasha Turovsky will be on exhibit at the Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre until March 24.

A professional violinist, Turovsky discovered the visual arts almost twenty years ago. In 1992, she enrolled in the Fine Arts program at Concordia University where she specialised in painting and printmaking.

Since her first solo exhibition in Montreal in 1995, Natasha has had more than forty solo and group exhibitions in Barcelona, Cleveland, Boston, New York and Hong Kong. Her works are in many private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, England, Spain, France, Russia, China and Iran.

Influenced by Klimt, Schiele and Chagall, Natasha brings to her art a surrealist musicality drawn from the absurd. However, as the artist has noted, life is full of absurdity- so she could also be considered a realist artist.
