Dorval Historical Society celebrates its 30th anniversary
This year, the Dorval Historical Society is celebrating its 30th anniversary. On April 11, 1984, approximately 30 Dorval citizens met with the objective of forming what is now known as the Dorval Historical Society.
Mayor Peter B. Yeomans and City Councillors Jules Daigle and Edgar Rouleau were present when the goals and the commitments of the Society were set out with the objective of documenting and promoting the history of the Dorval community.
You are all invited to the Sarto Desnoyers Community Centre (1335 Lakeshore Drive) on Wednesday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. to attend a wine and cheese evening to commemorate the event. A $3 entry fee will be charged for non-members. Archival pictures and documents will be displayed.
